Mihai Tarna, President of Jury of Main Section
Republic of Moldova
is a film and theatre director, actor, screenwriter, and since 2002, the Head of the Art of Acting Department at the International School of Cinema in Paris. He was born in 1971 in Chisinau, studied theatre acting and directing at the former State Institute of Art of Moldova, then film directing at the International School of Cinema in Paris. He staged over 20 plays in Moldova and France, played roles in over 15 movies in Moldova, France, and Great Britain, and wrote many screenplays, among which was Trilogy (”TRILOGHIA”), produced this past year.

Irina Margareta Nistor Romania
is the legendary voice known from the videotapes of the early 90s. She did the voiceover for more than 5000 films and cartoons. In time, she specialized in film studies, collaborating with film festivals, various publications and specialized broadcasts. She has been the chief editor for the “Cinema Paradis” and “Avanpremiera” magazines. She translated over 70 books. She has been a member of the jury for various film festivals, among them DaKINO, TIFF, IIFF ANONIMUL and the Romanian Filmmakers Union Awards. She produced and commented live from the studio on the Cannes awards, the BAFTA awards for HBO, and the Oscars. She filmed on the spot at the Karlovy-Vary film festival, as well as the Reims, Stockholm and Montreux film festivals. Irina Margareta Nistor was awarded the Medal Carol the 1st of Romania.

Marian Voicu Romania
. A graduate of the Polytechnic University and the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. Former reporter, news anchor and talk show host. Part of the TVR crew since 1996. Presidential and parliamentary debate moderator in 2004. Has shot over 50 reportages in romanian communities around Romania and the Balkans. The first romanian journalist to shoot in Siberia and Uganda. Four-time winner of the APTR Award as well the Romanian Press Club Award. Has been involved in projects related to the prevention of human trafficking, assisting children whose parents work abroad, supporting the liberty of the press and romanian journalists beyond Romania. Has been a member of the admistrative Council of SRTV (2007-2010). For 2 years has worked daily on the "Interviurile Europa FM" and has been the Project Manager of the "Radio Chisinau" radiostation.

Grit Lemke Germany
is author, curator, Head of Documentary Programme DOK LeipzigStudies in cultural studies, ethnology and literature; PhD in European ethnology; freelance author for print/TV; since 1991 in various functions at DOK Leipzig; has been working for a number of film festivals, including the Sheffield International Documentary Festival, the Festival of Eastern European Cinema Cottbus and the Festival of Central and Eastern European Film Wiesbaden; curator and project management for film series in Germany and abroad (including programmes in China, New Zealand, Poland); collaboration as an author on documentary films and publications regarding documentary films.

Pascal Servais France
is a French producer. He holds a degree in Film and Audiovisual Studies. He produced films, advertising, TV shows and sports events for several video production studios. Currently he works for Mort ou Vif Productions in a feature co-production project togehter with French and foreign partners. He is an adviser for scenario development and film fund raising. Pascal Servais productions participated in several international film festivals like: Cannes, Berlin, Toronto, Veneția, Dubai, Paris.

Vasile Botnaru Republic of Moldova
Vasile Botnaru began his studies in Chisinau. After three years, he transferred to the Lomonosov University in Moscow. He graduated in 1989, at the height of the Brezhnev stagnation, as well as the height of dissidence against the regime. He began his career as a journalist at “Viaţa satului” magazine. In 1992, he founded the BASA-press news agency together with other colleagues. Between 2000-2004 he becomes the magazine’s editor in chief. He collaborated with Radio Liberty, produced broadcasts for Catalan television, as well as State television, and was one of the organizers of PRO TV Chisinau television. He was the impetus behind several projects that encouraged the independent journalism. He taught courses in journalism at the State University and the Free International University of Moldova. Since 2004 till present, Vasile Botnaru is the chief of the local bureau of Radio Free Europe.

Cătălin Ștefănescu Romania
graduated the Faculty of Letters of the “Babes-Bolyai” University in Cluj-Napoca, Catalin Stefanescu is since 1999 the moderator and producer of the “100% Guaranteed” show aired on TVR 1. Other positions held by him: Head of the Broadcasting and Picture Division of TVR Cluj, Editor and Reporter at TVR Cluj, Member of “Uniter”, Member of the International Association of Theatre Critics, Producer and Moderator of the “Saturday’s meeting” show, aired on TVR 1 and TVR 2. His award portfolio includes: award for the best Romanian documentary film – “Penitentiary” – won at the Anthropology Film Festival of Sibiu, the CNA Award for the best local TV show – “100% Guaranteed”, award for the best TV essay – “The Circus” – won at Televest, Timisoara, award for the most original TV story – “Hussein” – won at Svaneke, Denmark.

Viorica Mesina-Prodan Republic of Moldova
is a director, producer, screenwriter, and copywriter for Sergiu Prodan’s Workshop. PR and Advertising. She produced several social campaigns for international organizations like UNICEF, World Bank and USAID. She is the director of the short feature film “The Butcher’s Children,” and the co-director of the feature film “Procust’s Bed” (director Sergiu Prodan), which obtained awards atinternational film festivals.

Mihai Fusu actor, director, tv producer and presenter

He studied at the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute in Moskow, Russia. His postgraduate studies were with the Royal National Theatre in London, UK and at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art in Paris. He staged over 30 plays. As a professor, he worked in Moldova, Switzerland, and the USA. He is the initiator of ,,The Seventh Kafana’’ (,,A şaptea kafana’’) documentary theatre project. The project screnplay was translated into several languages and is played in France, Sweden, Romania, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. In 1997, Mihai Fusu founded the Art Center Coliseum. In 2009, he initiated the independent theatre projects 513 and Foosbook. Since 2011, he is the producer of the TV show Re-publika on Publika TV.

Angela Arama journalist and tv producer

Angela Aramă has a degree in Journalism from the State University of Moldova and 20 years of experience in television as a producer and presenter for the TeleRadio Moldova company. Between 2002-2004, she was actively involved in the protests against censorship and was fired as a result. Consequently, she entered the political arena and became a deputy in the Moldavian Parliament between 2005-2009. She collaborated on the current Audiovisual Code of the Republic of Moldova, which was a defining step in her political career. She returned to journalism and now enjoys her disciples at the school of television for children, teenagers, and youth.

Tatiana Bunduchi-Iojita journalist, tv and radio producer

She started her career as a radio broadcast presenter at Radio Moldova when she was 14 years old and as a reporter at 16. After she graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at the State University of Moldova, she worked for Teleradio Moldova as an editor/presenter in the children department. Together with an enthusiastic group of journalists, she established the legendary broadcast of the 90’s – “Modern-club 805.” She was also an editor/presenter for “Radio Antena C,” the first city radio in the Republic of Moldova, and a producer for the DTV channel. Currently, Tatiana Bunduchi- Iojiţă is the Head of Youth Programs Department at Radio Moldova.
